Rachel Ivy Clarke

Formerly the cataloging librarian at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, Rachel Ivy Clarke is currently an associate professor at Syracuse University's School of Information Studies. Her research focuses on the application of design methodologies and epistemologies to facilitate systematic, purposeful, and provocative library and information services. She holds a BA in creative writing from California State University Long Beach, an MLIS from San Jose State University, and a PhD from the University of Washington Information School.
