Hello! My name is Reese and I am one of the co-founder of 3D Circuitry. I began my journey in STEM (specifically electronics) as long as I can remember. All through grade and High School I worked on my own electrical projects, learning along the way. Growing up the most difficult step in learning how to build my own electronics came when I tried to transition from breadboards to PCBs. Soldering is certainly an intricate art and it requires hours of practice. Several times I nearly gave up out of frustration. That's why I've helped create 3D Circuitry! I wanted to create an experience where makers can learn how to solder - while having fun too! In addition to working on computer hardware, I spend a lot of time in the software development world. My specialty is being able to understand both the electrical hardware and software aspects of electrical engineering. In addition to working on electronics I enjoy playing video games in my free time. I am an avid retro video game enthusiast and own a large collecti

What Inspired You to Make This?

Our struggles growing up not having a way to stay engaged while trying to learn a tedious skill such as soldering. The transition from breadboards to soldering on circuit boards is one that can be quite difficult. Growing up we struggled to stay interested in this field of study as the only options to learn were generic and overwhelming. 3D Circuitry tries to take the process of soldering and make it and enjoyable experience that sparks an interest in the maker. Soldering is one of the most critical elements to building electronics. As a society we need more people that know how to solder. Our goal is to inspire young minds to continue this path.
