What Inspired You to Make This?
After waiting two years, I was finally old enough to participate in the Lake Anne Cardboard Boat Race. It may not have been fast, but I had a lot of fun building my violin boat which was based on a large floating violin exhibit from Venice. Given my two hobbies of playing the violin and riding my stand-up paddle board, I just had to make this boat a reality. I was inspired by the challenge of designing and building a unique boat. My goals in designing the boat were to wow the crowd and not sink.
