RAW-CUT After living and working in Miami for many years and thanks to the creation of Moonlighter Makerspace my laser cut work has emerged. My work blends a knowledge of traditional architectural proportions with a joy of in the details of odd science fiction references and old machinery, to create an intriguing and abstract combination of the familiar and the unfamiliar. The name Raw-Cut comes from this abstract design idea expressed with the unfinished materials used - natural Baltic Birch Plywood with its burnt edges from the laser cutting process.
