What Inspired You to Make This?
I got excited about Newspaper Blackout Poetry (which I now call Erasure Poetry) in 2013/2014 when I was a graduate student and didn't have as much time to write poems. The erasure style is a bit like solving a puzzle or playing a game - time limited and satisfying. I created one every day for 3 months, had my poems exhibited in a museum in Santa Cruz, and self-published a book of 100 erasure poems as a testament to that time in my life.
