Let's Play with Split-Flap Display!

AfterAI Inc. created open source split-flap display called AfterAI Flaps. In this exhibition, we will showcase some use cases. The most notably, we will present an interactive demo, where you type your words on a keyboard and press enter. AfterAI is (currently) a single-person company. So I did all the aspects of this project. I studied computer science at my university days, and started working as a programmer. At some point, I felt constrained to write programs only for the usual computers. I mean, I started wanting to interact with physical things. So I learned PCB design and 3D modeling. It is so fun to combine many aspects of technology to create a physical stuff. I quit my last job in 2023 and started my own company called AfterAI. I'm happy that I can make things, sell the goods, and share the joy of making with others.
