I always loved art class throughout grade school, and ended up attending an arts university to study interior design and architecture. Despite graduating in the spring of 2020, I was able to find a job in Atlanta as a designer with a small architecture firm. One year later, I was suffering from complete creative burnout. I very abruptly quit my job and became a loan servicing officer at a bank, which allowed me the space to slowly dip my toes back into creating art just for myself. Through a lot of experimentation and after many failures, I discovered my love of drawing from my imagination. I was able to combine that new passion with the architectural linework style I'd learned in college to create fantasy illustrations that are simultaneously magical and grounded in reality.
